PET WASTE CASE FILES

Six open questions about how we keep your common areas clean. Pull a file to see the answer.

What is the proposal process like?

×

We will inspect your community to select/verify locations of dog waste stationsand/or trash cans. We will provide a detailed proposal usually within 72 hours ofreceiving your RFP.

What information do I have to provide to start the proposal process?

+

To start the proposal process, please provide: 1. A sample address in the community. 2. The number and locations of existing pet waste stations or trash cans (if available). 3. Your contact information for sending the proposal. 4. The name of the community and its billing address. 5. The current frequency of service, if applicable.

What does our pet waste station service include?

+

Our pet waste station service includes: 1. USDA certified bio-based dog waste bags and can liners with each service. 2. Scooping waste in the immediate area around the station. 3. Inspecting the station for any needed repairs and reporting them to our community contact. 4. Removing waste from the community’s property.

Do you require our community to sign a contract?

+

No! We will send our proposal for your signature. Once we start service, we will

continue servicing your community until we are notified in writing by a community

representative.

How will our community be invoiced?

+

We will send an invoice to the billing address or email address once per month. It will include all charges for the previous month. If no services are added or subtracted, your invoice amount will remain the same each month.

What happens if a service is missed?

+

If, for any reason, we must delay your service to another day, we will contact you as

soon as we are aware. We will ensure that your service will occur prior to your next

scheduled service day, or you will be credited for the missed service.

Will you notify us when you complete your service?

+

Yes! You may choose between receiving an email or a text when your service is

complete.

You say your dog waste bags and can liners are biobased products, what does that mean?

+

The term "biobased product" means a product determined by the Secretary to be a

commercial or industrial product (other than food or feed) that is- (A) composed, in

whole or in significant part, of biological products, including renewable domestic

agricultural materials, renewable chemicals, and forestry materials; or (B) an

intermediate ingredient or feedstock. Biobased Products are derived from raw materials

such as plants and other renewable agricultural, marine, and forestry materials.

Biobased products generally provide an alternative to conventional petroleum derived

products and include a diverse range of offerings such as lubricants, detergents, inks,

fertilizers, and bioplastics. For the purposes of the BioPreferred Program, biobased

products do not include food, animal feed, or fuel.

What do you mean when you say your bags are certified by the USDA?

+

A business with a biobased product that meets USDA criteria may apply for certification,

allowing them to display the USDA Certified Biobased Product label on the product.

This label assures a consumer that the product contains a verified amount of renewable

biological ingredients (referred to as biobased content). Consumers can trust the label

to mean what it says because manufacturer's claims concerning the biobased content

are third-party certified and strictly monitored by USDA.
